My first time having a freshly caught monkfish and what a Surprise. The tail meat is very similar in texture and taste to a lobster only sweeter and less rubbery. To lobster fans, this fish is all tail. Yep you read that right. The fish - IS ALL TAIL Ps. Staff speak limited English and I speak limited Spanish but all is fine as menu is in English.

Restaurant located near the center and near Deba beach, signature cuisine, very well prepared dishes, all with their own particular touch. From menu of the day, pintxos, sandwiches, combined dishes and menu. In the bar, dining room or in summer on the terrace. Every time we go to Deba we eat here. Everything, from the service, to the quality products a 10. Highly recommended.

Exceptional. Service is more than friendly. They are the loveliest staff I've ever seen around the world. They spoke little English but I was able to talk to them with the few Spanish I know. Food is homemade and they are proud of it. I had a merlu in a combinado and it was a great meal. Arroz con leche also good. Muchas gracias from Brazil, Taiwan and Germany. If I could give more than 5 stars, they deserve it.
